Former Satanist Warns Christians about Celebrating Halloween

Should Christians celebrate Halloween? Opinions differ between Christian leaders, lay people and church members.

According to a CBN News Facebook poll, 87% of believers feel that Christians should not celebrate Halloween, while 13% believe it’s okay.

Former Satanist John Ramirez recently joined Charlene Aaron on CBN News show Prayer Link to talk about Christians and Halloween.

“I was a general to the kingdom of darkness in witchcraft,” Ramirez said. “I would sit with the Devil and talk to him like I’m talking to you today. It was that kind of communication. It was that kind of relationship.”

Ramirez warns Halloween isn’t just about costumes and candy–there’s a much darker reality.

“Sometimes people say ‘I celebrated Halloween 10 years ago, I did this 15 years ago, I did this 20 years ago.’ But the doors still open. You just cursed your family from three to four generations,” Ramirez told CBN News.

“You have to be aware it’s a curse. You have to go back to the place where you started, that year that you started that Halloween thing, the celebration, when you started having that encounter with the dark side. You have to go back to that same spot and renounce and renounce it in the name of Jesus Christ and ask God to forgive you for that so that God can have mercy and close that door so your whole family can move forward,” he continued.

Ramirez, now a pastor, knows all about the dark reality of Halloween. He once sacrificed animals as part of satanic rituals and his friends even knew him as “Lucifer’s son.”

Now as a born again believer, he strongly warns Christians against celebrating Halloween and participating in harvest festivals.

“The only harvest we should celebrate is the harvest of souls,” he adds.

Ramirez says that in his opinion the other events Christians hold instead of Halloween, such as “Trunk or Treat” nights, are really no different.

“Do you know any Satanists who say ‘Hey we’re going to come into Good Friday and we’re going to hang out with the Christians and we’re just going to call it a different name?”

However, Pastor Alan Rudnick (link below) believes that Christians should take back Halloween.

“Halloween is often associated with the pagan concept of Samhain, the festival where ancient pagans believed that the worlds of the living and dead would been thinly divided,” he writes on his blog.  “But, we have seen from the other ancient pagan festivals associated with Christmas and Easter that these pagan connections do not serve as a reason why we cannot celebrate a Christian holiday.”

According to the website Equipping Godly Women, Halloween can be a good opportunity for outreach and to teach about good vs. evil.

However, Anton LaVey, the late founder of the Church of Satan, once said he took joy believers taking part in the tradition.

“I am glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year,” he said. “Welcome to Halloween.”

Is a Terrifying Biblical Plague Returning Despite Science’s Best Efforts?

“As for those peoples that warred against Yerushalayim, Hashem will smite them with this plague: Their flesh shall rot away while they stand on their feet; their eyes shall rot away in their sockets; and their tongues shall rot away in their mouths.” Zechariah 14:12 (The Israel Bible™)

Bubonic plague, a terrifying disease that once killed off half the world’s population, is breaking out in Madagascar, defying the best efforts of world health organizations attempting to prevent its spread through East Africa. The key to understanding this dread disease lays in the Bible, which describes its Egyptian origins – and its terrifying role in the end-of-days.

The number of deaths in Madagascar has almost doubled in the past week, with 124 dead and over 1,200 infections diagnosed. The majority of cases, 67 percent, were the pneumonic form of the disease, which is airborne and highly contagious, spread via coughing or sneezing. Though international health officials insist the risk of the disease spreading to other regions is low, they have set up operations to prepare for such an occurrence in the nine East African nations adjacent to Madagascar.

The strong reaction to the recent outbreak is understandable. Bubonic plague in the 14th century, also known as the Black Death, was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia and in Europe. If untreated, the disease has a 100 percent mortality rate, and the pneumonic form can be fatal within 12-24 hours.

But the disease may have even deeper roots in human history. The sixth plague in Egypt, boils, may very well have been bubonic plague, whose characteristic symptom is boil-like skin lesions that form black ulcers.

It shall become a fine dust all over the land of Egypt, and cause an inflammation breaking out in boils on man and beast throughout the land of EgyptExodus 9:9

An outbreak of the bubonic plague in Egypt would be consistent with what scientists know about the disease. In 2010, scientists traced the plague to ancient Egypt. Ancient cultures lived close to their livestock, and the plague was transferred from the animals by fleas. While exploring ruins in Egypt, Egyptologists found 3,000-year-old remains of Nile rats and used fine sieves to discover the remains of fleas, both carriers of plague.

The Black Death may have made another Biblical appearance. The fifth and sixth chapters of the Book of Samuel describe how the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant, placing it in their pagan temple in Ashdod. The idol in the temple was overturned and the city was struck by a disease, leading the people to return the Ark. Along with the Ark, the Philistines gave the Jews “aphlei zahav”. This is normally translated as golden hemorrhoids, though some Biblical scholars translate this item as golden boils.

You shall make figures of your hemorrhoids/boils and of the mice that are ravaging your land; thus you shall honor the God of Yisrael, and perhaps He will lighten the weight of His hand upon you and your gods and your land. I Samuel 6:5

Significantly, five golden rats, hosts to the flies that carry bubonic plague, were included in the Philistines’ gift. When describing this gift, the narrative in Samuel makes reference to the plagues in Egypt.

Don’t harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts. I Samuel 6:6

Though the numbers of deaths and infections resulting from the current outbreak may seem relatively small, any outbreak of bubonic plague is cause for concern. Rabbi Rami Levy, an end-of-days lecturer from Jerusalem, does not believe this outbreak is a significant threat, but he warned that it may become one in the apocalyptic future.

“There will certainly be another plague that destroys a significant part of the world population,” Rabbi Levy told Breaking Israel News. “But not until after the War of Gog and Magog, and specifically against the people who came out against the Jews.”

Rabbi Levy cited the prophecies of  Zechariah.

As for those peoples that warred against YerushalayimHashem will smite them with this plague: Their flesh shall rot away while they stand on their feet; their eyes shall rot away in their sockets; and their tongues shall rot away in their mouths. Zechariah 14:12

“All of the catastrophes that are happening now, the storms and earthquakes, are exceptional but they are not nearly on the scale of what we will see before Moshiach (Messiah),” Rabbi Levy said. “Right now we are just seeing wake-up calls, reminders that Moshiach is on the way.

“The plague that comes after Gog and Magog will be even worse than what the world saw in the Middle Ages,” the rabbi stated.

A number of major international health organizations are currently involved in aiding Madagascar and preventing the spread of the plague. The World Health Organization, Unicef, the Red Cross, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control have all mobilised emergency plans in the country, while also setting up programs in South Africa, Mauritius, Tanzania, La Réunion, Mozambique, Kenya, Ethiopia and Comoros, to prevent a pandemic. They are also operating in Seychelles, where several cases of the disease have been diagnosed.

PROOF POSITIVE THAT CROOKED HILLARY AND THE DNC FUNDED PHONY TRUMP-RUSSIA STORY COMES TO LIGHT

Marc Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington, D.C., firm, to conduct the research. Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community.

THE HILLARY CLINTON CAMPAIGN AND THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE (DNC) HELPED FUND RESEARCH THAT RESULTED IN A NOW-FAMOUS DOSSIER CONTAINING ALLEGATIONS ABOUT DONALD TRUMP’S CONNECTIONS TO RUSSIA AND POSSIBLE COORDINATION BETWEEN HIS CAMPAIGN AND THE KREMLIN, PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH THE MATTER SAID.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Within the past 24 hours, two enormous, blockbuster stories connecting Hillary Clinton with Russian uranium, Russian collusion, and a phony Trump story attempting to connect Trump with Russian prostitutes. Both these stories have mountains of proof attached to them, and today the Clinton spox are on every news program that will have them, desperately trying to spin it all away. What is coming to light now is exactly what we have been saying would happen, and exactly what ever one of the tens of millions of Trump voters have known to be the truth the entire time. It is time to #LockHerUp

Elias and his law firm, Seattle-based Perkins Coie, retained the firm in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’ research into Trump was funded by a still unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC, through the law firm, continued to fund Fusion GPS’ research through the end of October 2016, days before Election Day.

Fusion GPS gave Steele’s reports and other research documents to Elias, the people familiar with the matter said. It is unclear how or how much of that information was shared with the campaign and DNC, and who in those organizations was aware of the roles of Fusion GPS and Steele.

CLINTON CAMPAIGN, DNC PAID FOR ANTI-TRUMP DOSSIER RESEARCH:

THE DOSSIER HAS BECOME A LIGHTNING ROD AMID THE INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN’S POSSIBLE CONNECTIONS TO RUSSIA. TRUMP TWEETED AS RECENTLY AS SATURDAY THAT THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND FBI SHOULD “IMMEDIATELY RELEASE WHO PAID FOR IT.”

Steele previously worked in Russia for British intelligence. The dossier is a compilation of reports he prepared for Fusion. The dossier alleged the Russian government collected compromising information about Trump and the Kremlin was engaged in an active effort to assist his campaign for president.

U.S. intelligence agencies later released a public assessment, which asserted that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to aid Trump. The FBI has been investigating whether any Trump associates helped the Russians.

Trump has adamantly denied the allegations and has dismissed the FBI probe as a witch hunt.

Fusion GPS’ work researching Trump began during the Republican presidential primaries when the GOP donor paid for the firm to investigate.

When the Republican donor stopped paying for the research, Elias, acting on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, agreed to pay for the work to continue.

THE CLINTON CAMPAIGN PAID PERKINS COIE $5.6 MILLION IN LEGAL FEES FROM JUNE 2015 TO DECEMBER 2016, ACCORDING TO CAMPAIGN-FINANCE RECORDS, AND THE DNC PAID THE FIRM $3.6 MILLION IN “LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE CONSULTING’’ SINCE NOV. 2015 — THOUGH IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL HOW MUCH OF THAT WORK WAS FOR OTHER LEGAL MATTERS AND HOW MUCH OF IT RELATED TO FUSION GPS.

After the election, the FBI agreed to pay Steele to continue gathering intelligence, but the bureau pulled out of the arrangement after Steele was publicly identified.

The dossier was published by BuzzFeed News in January. Fusion GPS has said it did not give BuzzFeed the document. Officials have said the FBI has confirmed some of the information in the dossier. Other details have yet to be verified and may never be. source

Why Liberal Muslims Support Conservative Parties

There was a time when liberal Muslims in the West were mainly aligned with liberal parties.

But while seeing mass Islamic ghettos in the West during the past two decades, liberal parties started aligning themselves with traditional Mosque establishments and Islamic centers of the Muslim Brotherhood and Jamaat-e-Islami for the sake of their vote banks.

That was the turning point for left-leaning liberal Muslims and when they started looking for their options.

Liberal Muslims can’t get along with left or liberal parties that support sharia laws, motions or laws about so-called Islamophobianiqab or veil advocacy, Islamic banking, prayer rooms in public schools and Islamic ghettoization.

Now, liberal parties all across Western countries support the veil, niqabs and burkas of few Muslim women in the name of charter of freedom. Liberal Muslims argue that these items do not represent a dress code; rather, they are masks over the dress.

How could one accept concealing identity tactics in the name of the Charter of Freedoms?

But from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Labour Party leadership in Britian, liberal parties are endorsing women’s face covering inequality in the name of equality.

The Western world separated religion and politics long ago, but when it comes to Islamic communities some the two get mixed in the name of religious rights.

However, liberals don’t know that burkas and veils are not subscribed in Islam, either. A great proof is that Muslim women are not allowed to wear such face masks during Islam’s most holy Hajj pilgrimage.

Islamophobia is a new term that liberal parties and traditional Islamic organizations are in love with.

Islamophobia is generally defined as a dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force. Traditional Islamic centers created this term and spread it around through their actions.

What were those actions? Not denouncing armed jihad against those Western societies where they are abode now and not calling a spade a spade in cases of honor killings, the Taliban and ISIS attacks on Muslims and non-Muslims all over the world as well as Al Qaeda’s and ISIS’ sectarian war against minorities in the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.

So when liberal Muslims didn’t find voice and support from liberal parties for their communities’ freedom of expression, gender equality, condemnation of honor killingand sharia values, they started disassociating themselves from those liberal parties.

On the other hand, conservative parties support freedom of expression, gender equality and burka bands despite threats from traditional Islamic circles that they will lose their votes.

Conservative parties take the challenge and fight for these principles. The association of liberal Muslims with conservative parties stands on these values.

Liberal Muslims left their countries due to fears of, bullying by and harassment from Muslim Brotherhood and Jamaat-e-Islami groups. Unfortunately, these monsters are chasing them in the West with even more power.

As just one example, I will cite my own personal experience:

I moved to Canada in 1999 and started publishing a weekly magazine. At first, I became close to the NDP due to their leftist ideas. But I couldn’t put my lot in with the NDP because of the number of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood supporters who were quite active in the party.

I then got closer to the Liberal Party of Canada.

In 2001, I received death threats after exercising my freedom of expression. The Liberal government of the time as well as law enforcement agencies and the media protected me with

I loved my country, Canada. I loved the Liberal Party.

Yet in 2016-17, I was threatened and harassed by Liberal Party MPs. Suddenly, the media doesn’t want to discuss it, and law enforcement agencies and politicians avoid it.

However, I still love Canada.

I still have strong hope that we can save Canada and the West from political correctness, if not by politicians, by fellow citizens for sure.

Let me elaborate one more reality that I am least concerned about that many seem to be upset about: imported imams.

Why I am I not so concerned about imported imams? Because I know where they come from.

What I am more concerned about is the Muslim leadership that grew up in the West and appears in modern attire. They are the ones who are furthering the Islamists agenda and engaging in Western politics as well.

I am not targeting the Liberals or any party. I am only saying with heavy heart that our secular and liberal democracy is crumbling due to lack of political vision in parties and media.

Even Conservative parties in the West are now being infiltrated by Islamists.

Liberal Muslims like myself have been fighting violent Islamist ideology for a long now. And we have gone through many phases to deal it.

We strongly feel that our democracies and democratic values should not be crumbling due to perceived “vote banks.”

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.” Deuteronomy  18:10-13 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Have you noticed that over the last few years, the fake news media has been running lots of “positive and uplifting” stories on the witch and wiccan communities? And just coincidentally, of course, they always seem to be right in time for Halloween. Gone are the pointy hats and wart-filled noses. Today’s witch is a ‘boss babe’ who is looking to ‘enhance her positivist’ by ‘connecting with the universe’. And if along the way she needs to cast a spell or two, what’s the harm? In every dispensation and in every age, God is against the black art of witchcraft in all its various forms. Today’s witch wants to put distance between themselves and the Devil, but that won’t work. The Devil is in the details.

To celebrate Samhain, a Wiccan festival that falls on the evening of Oct. 31, Washington, D.C. resident Elizabeth Stephens usually prepares a pot of jambalaya to honor her late grandmother and a plate of roast beef in memory of her parents. She marks the festival with witches and fellow Wiccans, who offer their own dishes as a part of the day’s feast. The table they set becomes patterned with platters that were the favorites of family members and friends.

As a part of the celebration, a black cloth is held above the heads of the attendees and cut with a knife through the center, representing an opening between the spirit and material worlds. After some time has passed, participants encourage the spirits to return to their realm and the cut in the cloth is sewn.

Images of witches being veiled in darkness, casting spells over cauldrons endure, but a new generation of Wiccans and witches have established growing communities in D.C. and across the country.

Like other Wiccans and witches, Stephens has come “out of the broom closet” — a term that refers to publicly revealing one’s beliefs as a Wiccan or witch. They are fighting back against misinformation about Wiccans and witches.

STEPHENS SAID SHE LOVES HALLOWEEN.

“It’s a celebration of the witch. You can have sexy witches, you can have scary witches, but it’s still a celebration of the witch. Even if the witch isn’t shown in a positive light,” said Stephens, a 37-year-old Wiccan who also practices witchcraft.

Teighe Thorsen is a 29-year-old D.C. resident and witch who cofounded the group CityWitches in 2016.

Thorsen said she created the group, which includes Wiccans, Pagans and other occultists, as “a place where the alternate outcasts of magic can actually come together and talk.”

“We’re getting a lot of youth, a lot of people generally under 30, although not always, who are trying to find somewhere in their life that they actually have power,” she said. “They’re trying to find it in something that is non-dogmatic and something that is just their own — mystical, different, badass and empowering.”

Since starting CityWitches, Thorsen said she has seen an increase in interest from those inspired by her magic, including the rituals she writes on her Instagram, and a rise in members on the group’s Facebook page.

On her Instagram, Thorsen posts pictures of and describes in detail her magical practices. In one photo, she set up candles around a pentagram, with tarot cards, amethyst crystals and feathers surrounding the shrine. She occasionally posts photos of herself that show her colorful hair and amulets of jade and lapis lazuli.

Witches have repeatedly captured Americans’ imaginations. “The Craft” and the “Harry Potter” series are all hits, along with television shows like “American Horror Story: Coven.” But the visibility can create problems with perceptions. “This Halloween version of witchcraft” has made people assume about what Thorsen’s practices are, she said.

“Those are fantastical interpretations of what a witch is, but there is a little bit of truth to it,” Thorsen said. “There are things that you can do to affect certain results around you that most people won’t pick up on but you know how to do it.”

ALL MAGIC INVOLVES COMPLETING CERTAIN THINGS, LIKE SPELLS, TO CREATE CERTAIN CONSEQUENCES THAT A WITCH WANTS, THORSEN SAID.

“It [magic] is a tool for personal development and empowerment as well as for changing your environment, for helping the people around you, and fear is never welcome. Fear is the antithesis of forward momentum,” Thorsen said. “What I practice in magic is fearlessness.”

Whereas witchcraft includes magical practices that can change from witch to witch, Wicca is a religion with a set structure, according to Penny Verin-Shapiro, a professor in the anthropology department at California State University, Fresno. Verin-Shapiro spoke to Wiccans and witches, studying their separate systems of beliefs, for her 2014 book “Central Valley Pagans.”

Verin-Shapiro found in her interviews with Wiccans and witches that many of them didn’t seem to fit into the religions that they followed previously and stumbled on something that made them want to convert. She said that the influx of information on the internet has contributed to more individuals identifying themselves within modern-day witchcraft and Wicca.

“It’s [the internet] made it a lot easier to find out information that was hidden before and to find a group, if you want to a group to work with or to learn from,” Verin-Shapiro said. “There’s just a whole lot more information out there now that is easily accessed.”

Along with the availability of information, a more accepting attitude toward other religions has allowed Wiccans and witches to be more vocal and visible with their beliefs, according to Verin-Shapiro.

“The general public has become more accepting that not everybody has to be Christian, that there are many ways to worship,” she said. “So it has become easier for some people to come out of the broom closet.”

Being “out of the broom closet” hasn’t always been an option.

For centuries, the word “witch” was associated with witch trials, including the famous Salem witch trials in the 17th century, which accused some of practicing and performing magic.

Witchcraft didn’t begin and end with the witch trials. From Caribbean Santería to Italian Stregheria to various voodoo practices in West Africa and Louisiana, witches have discovered methods to magic and medicine within themselves in the past and present.

Modern-day witches have created their own collection of magic practices, inspired by centuries of witchcraft from across the world, according to Laura, a 58-year-old Wiccan high priestess who asked News4 to withhold her last name because she does not want her children to be harassed because of her beliefs. She said she has considered herself a witch for more than 30 years.

“Within every faith, you can find some sort or form of magic worker or belief in energy, in that you are able to work with the energy forces,” Laura said. “Not all of those people would have necessarily called themselves witches, of course. But they were working with the same constructs.”

LAURA SAID SHE HAS BEEN INTERESTED IN MAGIC SINCE CHILDHOOD. SHE FOUND WICCA THROUGH A TEACHER, WHO SAID SHE COULD TRACE HER TEACHERS BACK TO THE FOUNDER OF THE MODERN-DAY WICCAN MOVEMENT.

Gerald Gardner, a member of the Masons, combined elements from ceremonial magic and folk tradition into what he coined Wicca, which means “to bend,” according to Laura. She studied different degrees of mastery in Wicca to become a high priestess.

“For me, it is literally seeing the giant web of life and how every touch upon it affects something else in ways that are often unexpected,” Laura said.

From honoring an earth goddess with a mindfulness about one’s effect on the environment to an awareness about the three-fold law, which says that any action put out into the world comes back to someone three times, the Wicca that Laura follows teaches her that “we fully responsible for our own words and that includes what goes beyond ourselves.”

Laura said that her teachings and traditions in Wicca aren’t all necessarily followed by other Wiccans or witches, who may observe a completely separate set of customs.

“If you talk to five witches, you are going to get ten different answers,” she said.

LAURA HAS HEARD OTHERS DESCRIBE WHAT THEY THINK HER RELIGION IS ABOUT: DANCING NAKED, WORSHIPING THE DEVIL AND SACRIFICING ANIMALS. THOSE IDEAS ARE FAR FROM THE TRUTH, SHE SAID. SHE SAID SHE KNOWS A MAN WHO LOST VISITATION RIGHTS TO SEE HIS CHILD BECAUSE A JUDGE MISCONSTRUED HIS BELIEFS WITH SATANISM.

“I’ve had people not take me seriously. I’ve had people be very condescending to me. ‘Are you a good witch or a bad witch?’ kind of thing. I kind of looked at them and said … ‘Find out,” Laura said.

Stephens too said she has seen how stereotypes have seeped into how people understand her beliefs. Once, when she was reading a Wiccan book of spells at a McDonald’s, a cashier asked her about the book. While Stephens explained her faith, the cashier told her that “Evil never makes sense.”

“It was the worst experience that I’ve had as a witch,” Stephens said.

Still, in the coven of three other witches that she’s a part of, Stephens has found a family that she sees almost every week in Virginia.

“A lot of people think that we’re evil, that we’re spawn of Satan, that we worship the devil. We don’t even believe in hell, much less Satan,” Stephens said. “We’re people. We have as much variety within ourselves as a group as any other group.”

“We’re not all painted with one brush. There are witches that I would not associate with, but there are Christians that I would not associate with and Muslims and Jews and Hindus and Sikhs,” she added. “Every faith has its own share of bad apples. But just because there are a few bad apples does not mean that we are all bad apples.” source

7 FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE RUSSIAN CONSPIRACY SCANDAL INVOLVING THE CLINTONS AND URANIUM ONE

For starters, there is absolutely a real Russian conspiracy scandal, and it absolutely has nothing to do with Donald Trump. It has everything to do with Hillary Clinton selling influence to the State Department, and allowing the Russians to purchase 20% of all United States uranium used in the making of nuclear weapons. The Clintons enriched themselves while Obama looked the other way. It is a conspiracy at the highest levels, and the fake news media won’t report hardly a word on it.

HILLARY CLINTON AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION FIND THEMSELVES AT THE CENTER OF AN EXPLOSIVE SCANDAL INVOLVING THE TRANSFER OF 20 PERCENT OF ALL U.S. URANIUM TO RUSSIA VIA THE SALE OF THE URANIUM ONE COMPANY, JUST AS NINE FOREIGN INVESTORS IN THE DEAL FUNNELED $145 MILLION TO THE CLINTON FOUNDATION TO HELP GREASE THE WHEELS.

EDITOR’S NOTE: For starters, there is absolutely a real Russian conspiracy scandal, and it absolutely has nothing to do with Donald Trump.

Here are the seven facts about the Uranium One deal you need to know:

  1. Peter Schweizer Broke the Uranium One Scandal
Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer broke the Uranium One scandal in his book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich. In the book, he reported that Clinton’s State Department, along with other federal agencies, approved the transfer of 20 percent of all U.S. uranium to Russia and that nine foreign investors in the deal gave $145 million to Hillary and Bill Clinton’s personal charity, the Clinton Foundation.
  1. The New York Times Confirmed the Scandal in 2015
The New York Times confirmed Schweizer’s Uranium One revelations in a 4,000-word front-page story by a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter. It detailed how the Russian energy giant Rosatom had taken over the Canadian firm with three separate purchases between 2009 and 2013, largely coinciding with Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state.

  1. The FBI Uncovered Evidence that Russian Money Was Funneled to the Clinton Foundation
The Hill reported last week that ahead of the deal, the FBI had uncovered “substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering” to expand Russia’s nuclear footprint in the U.S. as early as 2009. The agency also found that Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. to benefit the Clinton Foundation. The Justice Department would sit on the evidence for four years before looking to prosecute, by which time the deal had been approved.
  1. Congress Is Now Investigating
The Senate Judiciary Committee has launched a probe into the scandal and has sent requests for more information to 10 federal agencies involved in the approval of the partial sale of Uranium One, asking what they knew about the FBI investigation and when.
  1. Bill Clinton Was Paid $500,000 for a Speech in Moscow
Bill Clinton bagged a $500,000 speech in Moscow paid for by a Kremlin-backed bank shortly after Russia announced its intention to take a majority stake in the company. According to the Times, Clinton traveled to Moscow in June 2010, the same month Rosatom struck its deal for its majority stake in Uranium One.
  1. The Clinton Foundation Took Big Bucks from Uranium Investors
According to the Times, The Clinton Foundation received $2.35 million in donations from Ian Telfer, a mining investor who was also the chairman of Uranium One when Rosatom acquired it. It also received $31.3 million and a pledge for $100 million more from Frank Giustra, the Canadian mining financier whose company merged with Uranium One.
  1. Senate Republicans Want an FBI Gag Order Lifted
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has called for the Justice Department to lift the gag order on the FBI’s whistleblower, indicating that he may have more explosive revelations related to the case and on what the Clintons and the Obama administration knew about the case and when they knew it. source

Kill Them All: France on French ISIS Fighters

The question of what to do with captured ISIS fighters has vexed many European countries who have nationals fighting for the terrorist group. With the fall of Raqqa, the de facto ISIS capital and reports of 400 ISIS fighters surrendering, that question has become more urgent.

France has a simple solution, as reported in The Times of Israel: Kill them.

“We are committed along with our allies to the destruction of Daesh (Islamic State) and we’re doing everything to that end,” French Defense Minister Florence Parly told reporters. “What we want is to go to the end of this combat and of course if jihadists die in the fighting, then I’d say it’s for the best.”

This fits with reports of previous French policy. When asked if the government of Emmanuel Macron would continue French policy of killing ISIS fighters with French citizenship, French government spokesman Christophe Castaner told reporters, “I say to all fighters who join the Islamic State group and then go abroad to wage war that waging war brings risks, and they must accept those risks.”

The Times of Israel also reported an understanding between the Iraqi army and the French to kill any French citizens fighting for ISIS that are caught: “We will prevent as much as possible any French person leaving Mosul alive,” said Abdelghani al-Assadi, a top commander in the Counter-Terrorism Service, quoted by Paris Match. “Our aim is to kill them so that no one from Daesh can flee.”
