White House Prayer Sessions Bring God Into Governance – Breaking Israel News | Latest News. Biblical Perspective.

“When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people sigh.” Proverbs 29:2 (The Israel Bible™)

Since the beginning of the White House transition in January, members of President Donald Trump’s cabinet have been gathering for weekly prayer sessions led by Capitol Ministries Pastor Ralph Drollinger. Though religion has always been part of the White House, these sessions include an impressive number of the highest-ranking members of the Trump Administration.

Capitol Ministries provides Bible studies, evangelism and discipleship to political leaders in over 40 US state capitols. The ministry also hosts separate weekly Bible studies in the House and Senate.

“In terms of a country’s health and direction, when its leaders are seeking God, the nation is in a position to be blessed by God,” Drollinger told CBN News.

Though not personally observant, Trump was blessed several times by pastors and rabbis during his presidential campaign. He has yet to attend the weekly prayer sessions but last month, he held a group moment prayer after he announced the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court.

As an outside group, the Capitol Ministry sessions, which are closed, must be sponsored by someone in the government in order to hold meetings in a Congressional building. In the White House, they are currently sponsored by no less than eight politicians: Vice President Mike Pence; Secretaries Betsy DeVos, Ben Carson, Sonny Perdue, Rick Perry, Tom Price and Jeff Sessions; EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Former US Rep. Michelle Bachmann (Rep-Minnesota) serves on the board.

Was Tamar a sinner or a saint? – Israel Study Center

Was Tamar a sinner or a saint?

In Hebrew Bible by Dr. Eli Lizorkin-EyzenbergApril 24, 2017

Judah being one of Jacob’s children, participates in a conspiracy to get rid of his half-brother Joseph by selling him to Egypt. Given the 20 year life expectancy of Egyptian slaves, being sold to Egypt was not salvation from death, it was death postponed by much suffering. When Judah matures and himself becomes a father of three sons, two of whom die after marrying Tamar, he learns what it means to love someone too much. Despite the law of levirate marriage that obligates Judah to have his third son marry Tamar, year after year he refuses. His love for his son trumps his sense of justice towards Tamar.

This happens until Tamar orchestrates one of the greatest redemptive breakthroughs in the history of the world by getting Judah himself to restore his dead son’s seed. Tamar disgraces herself, pretending to be a local prostitute. Her truly unconventional, but incredibly courageous plan works. When she becomes pregnant and the truth about his relationship to the child is proven, Judah repents and declares Tamar not guilty of any wrong doing, owning his guilt instead (Gen.38:1-27).

The book of Ruth celebrates Perez – the child of Tamar and Judah, as a crucial part of God’s redemptive plan and establishes him as ancestor of King David (Ruth 4:11-17). What is even more important is that the Gospels include Perez among the forefathers of Jesus, the Messiah and the Book of Revelation refers to Jesus as the Lion from the tribe of Judah!

Bible Codes Hint Syria, Russia Are Amalek – And Trump Will Help Israel Destroy Them – Breaking Israel News

“Therefore it shall be, when Hashem thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which Hashem thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget.” Deuteronomy 25:19 (The Israel Bible™)

A recent Bible codes video revealed a startling connection between Russia and Syria, indicating that the alliance between them represents the archetypal evil entity Israel is commanded to wipe out. The codes reveal the Biblical nature of the Syrian conflict, with President Donald Trump’s recent missile strike placing him firmly on the side of Israel.

Bible codes expert Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson opened his new video on the situation in Syria by pointing out that in Hebrew, Russia and Syria are spelled using the same letters, indicating an essential connection between the two countries that transcends the current political interests they share.

Trump’s Drastically Increased References To God Has Politico Asking If The President Has ‘Found Religion’ • Now The End Begins

president-donald-trump-making-increased-references-to-god-bible-jesus-christ-christianity

President Donald Trump has increasingly infused references to God into his prepared remarks — calling on God to bless all the world after launching strikes in Syria, asking God to bless the newest Supreme Court justice, invoking the Lord to argue in favor of a war on opioids.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Psalm 33:12 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: NTEB has maintained for over a year now that the hand of God was and is on Donald Trump, and is the force behind his amazing election victory win. So it comes to us as no surprise that as time ticks on, the president’s God awareness level seems to be rising. Please continue to pray for his salvation, and that of his entire family, as Bible prophecy continues unfold and long ago prophesied events look like they are about to take place.

He’s also taken other steps to further cultivate a Christian right that helped elect him, granting new levels of access to Christian media and pushing socially conservative positions that don’t appear to come naturally to him.

One of the first interviews Trump sat for as president was with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “I’ve always felt the need to pray,” Trump said in that late-January interview. “The office is so powerful that you need God even more because your decisions are no longer, ‘Gee I’m going to build a building in New York.’ … These are questions of massive, life-and-death.”

“I’ve always felt the need to pray,” Trump said in that late-January interview. “The office is so powerful that you need God even more because your decisions are no longer, ‘Gee I’m going to build a building in New York.’ … These are questions of massive, life-and-death.”

President Trump Relying On God Now More Than Ever:

“There’s almost not a decision that you make when you’re sitting in this position that isn’t a really life-altering position,” Trump added. “So God comes into it even more so.”

Language like that has the Christian conservatives who helped lift Trump to the White House nodding their heads in approval.

“I believe the weight of the office that he now holds and the burden of responsibility that it carries is humbling him somewhat and causing him to acknowledge and admit his reliance on God,” said Darrell Scott, an Ohio pastor who has known Trump for six years and supported Trump’s campaign and served on his transition team. Scott was last at the White House in February for a meeting Trump held to mark Black History Month.

Melania and Donald Trump’s Biggest Prayer Request:

But others who have long followed Trump — a businessman who was known more as a playboy than a practitioner of faith — are skeptical that the president has found religion in the Oval Office.

“Donald has never been a spiritually or religiously serious person,” said Timothy O’Brien, author of the Trump biography “TrumpNation: The Art of Being Donald.”

Gwenda Blair, author of “The Trumps: Three Generations of Builders and a President,” said: “He’s a transactional guy with humans, and it’s no different with God — it’s all about whatever is to his advantage with regard to his supporters, and referencing God is exactly and only that.”

There’s also the question of Trump’s church attendance as president. On the morning of his inauguration, Trump and his family attended a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church near the White House and then participated in an interfaith prayer service that Saturday at the National Cathedral. He also appeared at the National Prayer Breakfast in early February.

On Sunday, Trump went to Easter services at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Church in Florida, where he and his wife, Melania, were married in 2015.

But there’s no public knowledge of any other church services Trump has attended, and if he has, it has been without the knowledge of White House pool reporters.

The White House did not respond to questions about whether Trump has been attending church as president.

Trump’s frequent invocations of God in his remarks as of late are a change from both his past life as a businessman and his time on the campaign trail. Generally, candidate Trump did not reference God during his rallies and mostly talked about religion only when asked during interviews and during a handful of speeches at faith-based events. source

ON THE BRINK: Gen. McMaster Confirms President Trump Has Ordered Strike On North Korea • Now The End Begins

One of the advisers, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, confirmed his Commander-in-Chief has made the order as a U.S. carrier strike group heads for the region. It is believed that among the options are combined special forces raids and pre-emptive missile strikes.

President Trump has ordered his military advisers to be ready with a list of options to smash North Korea’s nuclear threat.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: If you have not been following the news for the past few days, you are way behind. Over the past 72 hours, the United States carried out a cruise missile strike on Syria because of their chemical attack on their own civilians. Shortly after that, both Russia and Iran stood up to declare that “real war” was coming. Then today China moved 150,000 troops to the North Korean border. Why? Because President Trump has declared that the nuclear buildup happening in North Korea will be addressed shortly. The powder keg is fully packed, with the fuse dangling prominently upward. All it needs is the match. Are YOU ready for what comes next?

One of the advisers, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, confirmed his Commander-in-Chief has made the order as a U.S. carrier strike group heads for the region. It is believed that among the options are combined special forces raids and pre-emptive missile strikes.

One of the problems facing an American-led operation to hit Pyongyang’s leader Kim Jong-Un is the intricate tunnel network under the capital.

McMaster: Trump Has Asked For ‘Full Range Of Options To Remove’ North Korean Threat To U.S., Allies

War-planners have had difficulty mapping out the subterranean complex and believe there are hundreds of underground artillery and airplane sites.

McMaster described the decision to redeploy the USS Carl Vinson to the Sea of Japan as ‘prudent’ given North Korea’s ‘pattern of provocative behavior.’ Speaking to Fox News, McMaster said: “It’s prudent to do it, isn’t it?

Jim Mattis warns North Korea over nuclear attack

“Presidents before and President Trump agreed that that is unacceptable, that what must happen is the denuclearization of the peninsula.

“The president has asked us to be prepared to give us a full range of options to remove that threat.”

The news comes after Trump launched cruise missiles against Assad in Syria last week, the first time the US has directly targeted the regime during the conflict. North Korea denounced Trump’s attack as an act of ‘intolerable aggression’ and one that justified ‘a million times over’ its push toward a nuclear deterrent. source

Will The U.S. Be Drawn Into Fighting Two Major Wars Simultaneously

According to CBS News, an astounding three-fourths of all Americans have to “scramble to cover their living costs” each month.

In other words, most of the country is either living paycheck to paycheck or very close to it.

But instead of tightening their belts and trying to put something away for the very hard times that are coming, most Americans are completely and utterly unprepared for what is ahead because the people that they trust on television keep telling them that everything is going to be okay.

Unfortunately, everything is not going to be “okay”, and when things start falling apart all around us there is going to be a lot of anger directed toward those that have been lulling everyone into a false sense of security.

One of the reasons why I am sounding the alarm so loudly is so that people will not be blindsided by the things that are about to happen to this country.

As you will see below, we are on the precipice of two major wars, conditions are ripe for a devastating economic collapse, and if you were to throw in a major natural disaster or two you would have a recipe for the kind of “perfect storm” that many have been warning about.

Earlier today I focused on our looming economic problems, and in this article I want to address the potential for more military conflict in the very near future.  When Donald Trump hit Syria with 59 cruise missiles, millions of Americans greatly celebrated, but much of the rest of the world was deeply alarmed.

The Trump administration has said that more strikes are possible, but Russia and Iran are both pledging that “we will respond with force” if any more attacks are conducted…

Russia and Iran have said they will respond to further American military actions following the air strike in Syria last week.

In a joint statement, the command centre for the two countries and allied groups said “we will respond to any aggression”.

The statement read: “What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.”

Do you understand what that means?

If Trump fires off any more cruise missiles at Syria, we will essentially be in a state of war with both Russia and Iran.

Previously, Russia had warned that our two nations were “one step from war” because of Trump’s actions, but the Trump administration is showing no signs of backing down.

In fact, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley says that regime change in Syria is now a top priority…

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, who has done a remarkable job of continuing the diplomatic tone set by her predecessor Samantha Power, said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” which will air in full on Sunday, that regime change in Syria as one of the Trump administration’s top priorities in Syria.

Her statement was a complete U-turn from what she said just over a week ago, when she told a group of reporters that the US was “no longer focused on getting Assad out.”

Some members of the administration are apparently even advocating a full-blown invasion of Syria.

For example, it is being reported that National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has come up with a plan to send 150,000 U.S. ground troops into the country…

As NSA, McMaster’s job is to synthesize intellience reports from all other agencies. President Trump is being given an inaccurate picture of the situation in Syria, as McMaster is seeking to involve the U.S. in a full scale war in Syria.

The McMaster-Petraeus plan calls for 150,000 American ground troops in Syria.

Many special operations veterans including General Joseph Votel have raised serious concerns about McMaster’s plans for Syria.

I don’t know if I have the words to describe how incredibly foolish that would be.

Do we really want to fight an extremely bloody ground war with the combined forces of Russia, Iran, Syria and Hezbollah?

There is very little good that could come out of a war in Syria even in the most rosy scenarios possible, but if things go bad they could go really, really bad.

Meanwhile, NBC News is reporting that President Trump is considering various military options for North Korea, and one of those options includes “killing dictator Kim Jong-Un”…

The National Security Council has presented President Donald Trump with options to respond to North Korea’s nuclear program — including putting American nukes in South Korea or killing dictator Kim Jong-un, multiple top-ranking intelligence and military officials told NBC News.

After seeing what happened in Syria and hearing these threats openly discussed in the U.S. media, what do you think Kim Jong-Un is thinking at this point?

One member of Congress is warning that “millions can die” if a military strike against North Korea goes badly.

Once U.S. missiles begin flying, North Korea can start firing off their nukes and their vast arsenal of chemical warheads almost instantly.

Could you imagine what would happen if large numbers of deadly nerve gas warheads started exploding in downtown Seoul, downtown Tokyo and at U.S. military bases in Japan?

The carnage would be off the charts, and this is a scenario that we want to avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, it seems like we are coming closer to a conflict with North Korea with each passing day.

In fact, today we learned that an aircraft carrier strike group headed by the USS Carl Vinson is sailing in the direction of North Korea right now…

Amid rising tensions with North Korea, an aircraft carrier strike group led by the USS Carl Vinson were heading toward the Korean peninsula.

The aircraft carrier and its accompanying ships had been scheduled to leave from Singapore for port visits to Australia on Saturday, but Adm. Harry Harris, head of U.S. Pacific Command, ordered the strike group to head north toward Korean waters instead.

So what happens if the U.S. starts fighting two major wars simultaneously, the biggest debt bubble in the history of the planet starts bursting, and the U.S. stock market crashes by 50 percent as some analysts are projecting?

Some Americans still have memories of living through the Great Depression and World War II, but most of us have been living in a bubble of peace and prosperity for so long that we don’t think that anything could ever come along and threaten our way of life.

And since the election of Donald Trump, interest in “prepping” has dropped to the lowest level that I have ever seen.

Most people have been lulled into a false sense of security, while the truth is that we have entered perhaps the most dangerous period of time in modern American history.

So you all can do whatever you want, but me and my house are going to get prepared for the tremendous storm that is about to hit this nation.

Those that are wise will do the same, but unfortunately most Americans are going to get absolutely blindsided by what is coming.

Persecuted Christians Suffer “Worst Year Yet,” Mostly Under Islam – Israel News

The persecution of Christians around the world, but especially in the Muslim world, has reached an all-time high—with 2016 being the “worst year yet,” according to Open Doors, which recently released its annual ranking of the top 50 countries where Christians face the most persecution.

Among some of its more significant findings:

  • “Islamic extremism” remains the dominant force responsible for the persecution of Christians in 40 of the 50 worst nations;
  • Nine of the ten worst nations are Muslim (North Korea being the only non-Islamic);
  • “In the top 21 countries on the Open Doors World Watch List [18 of which are Muslim], 100 percent of Christians experience persecution”;
  • 1,329 churches were attacked, damaged, or destroyed, mostly in Muslim nations;
  • Islamic Somalia is now the second worst nation; there, “If their [Christians’] faith is discovered it means instant death, executed without trial and often on rumor alone”;
  • In Nigeria—where more Christians have been slaughtered by Muslims than possibly in any other nation—the killing of Christians went up by 62 percent;
  • The nation where the most violent and sexual attacks on Christians take place—Muslim majority Pakistan—rose to the number four spot.
