Abdur Rahman Mohammed, a former Brotherhood operative, recorded being present at aBrotherhood meeting where the members decided to use the term “Islamophobia” as a political weapon. “This loathsome term is nothing more than a thought-terminating cliché conceived in the bowels of Muslim think tanks for the purpose of being down critics,” he later remarked.
