Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned Germany’s support for Holland in the crisis between Ankara and Amsterdam on Monday. “Germany is mercilessly supporting terrorism,” Erdoğan claimed during an address that was broadcasted live in Turkey.

Erdoğan added that he plans to file a lawsuit against the Netherlands with the European Court of Human Rights for its role in the diplomatic crisis. Yesterday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel openly voiced her support to Holland after Erdoğan called the Dutch “Nazi remnants.”
