Pastor Carl Gallups wrote a book which took a different view of the following verse:
[2Th 2:3-7] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, UNTIL HE BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY.
The pastor takes the “HE” in the last phrase “until HE be taken out of the way” to represent God’s hand, not the Holy Spirit who indwells in believers. I find that to be a deviation from what the Lord Jesus promised us before He was taken up to His heavenly throne:
[Joh 14:26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Apostle Shaul explained it very clearly in the following passage:
[Rom 5:5-9] “And hope maketh not ashamed; because THE LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS BY THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS GIVEN UNTO US. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. MUCH MORE THEN, BEING NOW JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WRATH THROUGH HIM.”
Pastor Carl took as examples the wrath of God which precipitated Noah’s flood and Sodom and Gomorrah events where-in the “remaining” righteous families were spared during God’s wrath which we uniformly labelled as Tribulation.
Granted Noah and his immediate family did go through the tribulation (raging flood), however, spiritually speaking, Noah represent the remnant of the people of Israel whom the Lord YAHSHUA did mention will go through God’s Wrath when He discussed end time event with His taught ones:
[Luk 21:20-22] “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the DAYS OF VENGEANCE, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”
The Lord YASHUA called it DAYS OF VENGEANCE!
Was Noah’s family the only righteous families found on the face of the earth?
No! There were millions of others as well who lived righteous lives!
What had happen to them? Did they drown with the ungodly?
Of course not!
For this knowledge, we need to refer to the ancient book of Jasher, chapter 5, verse 21: “AND ALL THE SONS OF MEN WHO KNEW THE LORD, DIED IN THAT YEAR BEFORE THE LORD BROUGHT EVIL UPON THEM; FOR THE LORD WILLED THEM TO DIE, so as not to behold the evil that God would bring upon their brothers and relatives, as he had so declared to do…”
They were spared through peaceful death or “fall into sleep in the Lord YAHSHUA.”
God follows the same pattern throughout the ages so that mankind is taught, time and again, that He spares the righteous before pouring down His wrath upon the sinful and unbelievers.
Why should the elects go through the same torturous journey of GOD’S WRATH or DAYS OF VENGEANCE or TRIBULATION!
And on top of that, NOAH WAS CHOSEN BY GOD TO RE-POPULATE THE EARTH!
Lot and his family is a very clear example that God’s wrath will come ONLY upon the earth after the righteous families are taken out!
[1Th 4:13-17] “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: THEN WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD.”
The highlighted sentence describes “the Rapture” of believers which was disclosed by the Lord YAHSHUA at the end of the next video presentation.
YAHSHUA TELLS OF THE NETCHATEF … AKA THE RAPTURE
Published by Alan Horvath on Jun 28, 2012
Someone sent a message to my friend Scottie, saying “How can there be a Rapture if Jesus never mentioned it?” and Scottie replied, “He did mention it! It’s in John 11:25-26!”
This is such a precious nugget from His Word, after talking with Scottie and seeing this wonderful Truth for myself, I just had to share it!
These are the verses of scripture brother Scottie comfort us with:
[Joh 11:25-26] Jesus said unto her, I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE: HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE: AND WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE. BELIEVEST THOU THIS?
Repent and… That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [Rom 10:9]
