My note: Roman Catholic belief that SALVATION COMES THROUGH WORKS, and NOT BY FAITH ALONE! Are we being brought back again to Act 15:1  And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. This is the premise taken by the so called Messianic movement!

The Pope has stirred things up in recent weeks by sending a video message to Pentecostal Word of Faith leader Kenneth Copeland, urging reconciliation between Catholics and Charismatics. Anglican Episcopal Bishop and friend of the Pontiff, Tony Palmer, stated in an introduction to the video before Copeland’s live audience, “The Catholic and Charismatic Renewal is the hope of the Church,” as ministry followers cheered him on.

He continued by telling the group that his words had come straight from the Vatican. “When my wife saw that she could be Catholic, and Charismatic, and Evangelical, and Pentecostal, and it was absolutely accepted in the Catholic Church, she said that she would like to reconnect her roots with the Catholic culture. So she did.”

“Brothers and sisters, Luther’s protest is over. Is yours?” came the bold proclamation from Palmer, followed by an enthusiastic reaction from Kenneth Copeland himself, who said, “HEAVEN IS THRILLED OVER THIS…You know what is so thrilling to me? When we went into the ministry 47 years ago, this was impossible.”

Luther’s protest originated out of the Roman Catholic belief that SALVATION COMES THROUGH WORKS, and NOT BY FAITH ALONE, although Catholicism attempts to deny this premise.  It clearly contradicts itself by teaching that certain actions are required in order to become justified and to maintain justification.

What are we witnessing here?

To those of you who had never watched Kenneth Copeland c.s. of the Charismatic movement ministry, let us watch the following video presentation:

THE GAY SHIFT IN AMERICA: [seems to be a broken link]

Let us first review the so called Charismatic Theology.

John McArthur explained the true face of the Charismatic Movement.

The Charismatic movement is the main reason for the church to be in a mess today in every area where church life is unbiblical, you can attribute that to the charismatic movement: bad theology, superficial worship, ego (a local ethnic church pastor confirmed a remark by his member of dubious spiritual guidance,  that they could not “feel” the presence of God until he, the pastor and his wife took over. If you happened to be in the worship team or worse yet the team leader, how would you feel to be publicly declared in the social media of your failure in leading the congregation into the presence of God? I understand that the Lord Jesus promised as follows: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them);  personality elevation, all of that come from this aberrant charismatic movement.

John McArthur said this movement is bad theology, it is a destructive movement, it redefines Christianity in people minds, it is an aberrant form Christianity, it is unbiblical, it promises their followers which they cannot deliver and God gets the blame for non-performance!

Secessionist vs Charismatic: apostolic gifts ceased in the apostolic age, as can be proven in the following verse: 1Co 13:8  CHARITY NEVER FAILETH: BUT WHETHER THERE BE PROPHECIES, THEY SHALL FAIL; WHETHER THERE BE TONGUES, THEY SHALL CEASE; WHETHER THERE BE KNOWLEDGE, IT SHALL VANISH AWAY.

2Co 12:12  Truly THE SIGNS OF AN APOSTLE were wrought among you in all patience, IN SIGNS, AND WONDERS, AND MIGHTY DEEDS.

Eph 2:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [In that order]

The proof of Paul true apostleship was shown in the following verses:

Act 28:7  In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously. [8] And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. [9] So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed…

But if the signs and wonders still exist, John McArthur said: will they be given to bad theology, such as Benny Hinn [and I might add, Kenneth Copeland and others, your pastors]?

2Ti 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2]  For men SHALL BE LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELVES, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth…[12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.[13] BUT EVIL MEN AND SEDUCERS SHALL WAX WORSE AND WORSE, DECEIVING, AND BEING DECEIVED. [14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
