…who abides in JESUS ought himself also to walk just AS HE WALKED. (1 John 2:5-6)

Quoted from Prophecy News Watch:

One clear winter morning, I was sitting at my favorite coffee shop reading the Scriptures and journal-ling. A man walking past my table noticed I was reading the Bible and began to engage me in conversation.

He shared that he was a member of a large church in our area (one that preaches the prosperity “gospel”), and that he believed the Bible was primarily a book about God’s intentions to bless us.

I replied that the Bible is actually a book about who God is, who we are, and what God has done to reconcile us to himself. I began sharing the gospel, and noted that Christians were promised suffering as part of following Jesus.

He responded by saying that as long as we have faith, God will bless us and keep us from suffering. I referred to several verses where God promises that believers will suffer ordinary trials as well as specific persecution, at which point he put up his hands defensively and said, “I just don’t receive that for my life.”

Why is Prosperity Gospel identified with Satanic Gospel? Let us go to the early preparation days of the Lord Jesus’ ministry. I know we are all very familiar with the following event:

Matthews 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. [2]  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. [3]  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. [4] But he answered and said, IT IS WRITTEN, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD. {Note: Do you live by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God? I am still trying}

[5] Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, [6] And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. [7] Jesus said unto him, IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN, THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT THE LORD THY GOD.

{Note: Have you ever tempted the LORD our GOD? I know I have, time and again}

[8]  again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; [9] and saith unto him, ALL THESE THINGS WILL I GIVE THEE, IF THOU WILT FALL DOWN AND WORSHIP ME. [10] Then saith Jesus unto him, GET THEE HENCE, SATAN: FOR IT IS WRITTEN, THOU SHALT WORSHIP THE LORD THY GOD, AND HIM ONLY SHALT THOU SERVE. {Note: Have you ever worshiped non-gods, in whatever form they come into your lives? Yes, I have and am sorry for it}

My repentance is far from perfect! Am I a hopeless case?

Let us refer to the following explanation:

In the case of Satan’s attempt to tempt the Lord Jesus Christ as described in the passage of scripture quoted before the preceding video presentation; he failed in a big way! The Lord Jesus, the Son of God was, still is and will always be invincible! So, he (Satan) turns to the Body of Messiah, through false prophets as the LORD GOD had warned His people through His prophets:

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:1)

Having prepared our mind with the above real episode in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, the begotten Son of God, let us turn our attention to the following video report:

Published on November 17, 2013

The Prosperity ‘gospel’ (of greed) is satanic and sold by false prophets/Preachers who twist Bible verses to make money. http://endtimereport.net/2013/03/14/s… They deceive people with their demonic seed faith money doctrine (developed by Oral Roberts) and ignore (to teach) important Biblical scriptures like the ten given in this video. The Bible says in the last days some shall depart from the Christian faith for ‘doctrines of demons.’ Evangelists/pastors/preachers like Mike Murdock, Todd Coontz, Peter popoff, Robert Tilton, Steve Munsey, Rod Parsley, Creflo Dollar and the cast of preachers of L.A. etc) are promoting this false ‘money cometh gospel.’

Here are ten verses of scripture prosperity gospel do not want you to know:

1. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthews 19:24

2. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. (1Timothy 6:9)

3. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1Timothy 6:10)

4. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: (Matthews 6:19)

5. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matthews 10:8)

6. And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. (Acts 2:45)

7. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

8. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2Corrinthians 4:18)

9. But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1Timothy 6:6)

10. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthews 6:33)

Luke 21:8 and he said, take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, i am christ; AND THE TIME DRAWETH NEAR: GO YE NOT THEREFORE AFTER THEM.

Concerning the following video presentation, let me cite a short foreword from the word of God to false prophets which we will be watching below:

Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:30-32)

Let me close with the following warning from our Lord Jesus Christ:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. YE SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. WHEREFORE BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM. (Matthews 7:15-20)
