“HOW BLESSED AND COMFORTABLE ARE THE CONVERTED GENTILES AS OPPOSED TO THE JEWS.”

I have a “tongue in cheek” story to relate to you concerning “How blessed and comfortable are the converted gentiles as opposed to the Jews.”

The way gentiles turned Christians are brought up, surely will make any Jew jealous. Why not?

While the Jews from way back have to abide by all the rules, regulations, decrees, statutes, and laws of God (plus the laws concocted by the scribes and the Pharisees); their transgressions of the law brought on, not only banishment from the Promised Land, but also to severe genocidal persecutions and all the things ones would not wish to happen to ones’ own enemies; they would surely be JEALOUS of the Christians, who have it very, very easy.

So far, all these Christians have to do are to declare their faith, get baptized and become members of some church. Some of them do not even have to bring a set of clothing at baptism; just a comb to straighten the hair after a few drops of water had been sprinkled on the heads.   To maintain membership and guaranteed “salvation” they will go to church on Sunday, sometimes, just on the odd Sundays;  send their kids to Sunday school, celebrate all of the “so called” Christians’ holidays, including other celebrations “not forbidden” nor have ever been preached as to their merits by the pastors, such as Halloween, Valentines, etc.

Why do the Christians’ contingents fail to provoke the Jews to jealousy? Because of diverse doctrines we have been led astray into; for example, the RC denomination even tolerates the festival of the Day of the Dead, which is celebrated yearly with pomp and grandeur, etc!

Is this what Christianity all about?

Continuing with my thoughts, is it true that these regulations and law are for the Jews only? May be this verse came to mind to someone:

Exodus 20:22 And Father YHWH said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

Is it because Father YHWH has not spoken to us from the heavens, make all of those are not for us?

There are those from some circle who think that the Christians are spiritual Jews as opposed to Jews born from the seeds of Jacob (physical Jews). That is a misunderstanding of the “gross” non-biblical kind! Who are the Christians according to the bible? Was the Lord Jesus Messiah impaled on the stake for the forgiveness of sins for the converted pagans only? Thus they tried to emulate Jews sets of customs, dress codes and religious beliefs and rituals, not realizing that they are being led into Judaism; a belief system that completely reject the Messiah-ship and the Son-ship of the Lord Jesus Christ!

That is why I started this devotional with “How blessed and comfortable are the converted gentiles as opposed to the Jews.”

No, the Lord Jesus Messiah was promised long before there were any other human beings except Adam and Eve as written in the following verse: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Again I ask: Who are the Christians according to the bible? Sha’ul (Paul) explained it well:

Ephesians 2:11-15 Where fore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Let us read it SLOWLY and with FEELINGS now verse 15; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

The quoted verse explicitly says that through His death, the Lord Jesus Messiah abolished, by His sacrificial death, the enmity between the former transgressors of the Law of the Commandments or gentiles believers who achieved salvation through faith, against the Jews, who maintained that salvation is achieved through keeping the Torah and fulfilling the rite of circumcision, and have likewise achieved salvation through faith!

Again I ask: Who are the Christians according to the bible?  Before the Lord Jesus Messiah’s redemptive sacrifice, we were excluded from the Commonwealth of Israel! Why of Israel?

Romans 1:16; 2:9-10  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek…2:9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

In the matter of God, because of the FAITH of Abraham (the father of faith) the Jews were “chosen” to be the people through whom, Father YHWH promised to birth His begotten Son, the Lord Jesus the Messiah!

Back to the concept of the reason we become a part of the Commonwealth of Israel.

Commonwealth is not citizenship! It refers to a group of people linked by something that they (or rather, we) all have in common; the redemption of Christ Jesus as this verse attests: “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”  In the real sense of the word, we are no longer excluded from the Commonwealth of Israel! We belong to the Commonwealth of Israel, because both we Christians and the people of Israel becomes “one renewed man” linked together as citizens of the Kingdom of God, under One king, the King of all kings, Jesus Messiah.

Matthews 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Has it been fulfilled as yet? No! Heaven and earth have not passed away as yet.

Revelation 20:11-15  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Law will judge those whose names are not written in the Book of Life. The Lord Jesus said:

Is your name written in the Book of Life?

You have been shown how God proves the truth of His Word, time and forever. He shows us the “End” from the “Beginning.” Aren’t you amazed at the Almighty God?

Do you know or have you heard or better still, are you a believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? He is closing the book on this sinful world. Because of His loving nature, He wants to reduce the number of human beings from perishing, not the other way around. It is said that “THE LORD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISE, AS SOME MEN COUNT SLACKNESS; BUT IS LONG SUFFERING TO US-WARD, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.” [2 Peter 3:9]

If you are a believer and hope to be gathered together (rapture) with the Lord Jesus Christ, you have to make sure that you have the proper boarding pass. The way to be saved from the end time disasters and burning forever in the lake of fire, all He asks is, believe in His Son, Jesus Messiah, whom He had send into the world to be the ultimate sin sacrifice. There is no other way! This invitation is open to all: atheists, Judaizers, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists, for people of all walk and beliefs.

You need to repent from your erroneous life styles. Find bible believing church.

Here is how: Romans 10: 8-13

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

AND HIS NAME IS YAHWEH, NOT ALLAH OR ANY OTHER NAMES!
